Dear Hiring Manager,
I am excited to apply for the Sales Development Manager position.
As a successful salesperson with a BDR mindset, I bring the tools, drive, and hustle necessary for this role. I have extensive experience selling UCaaS, a type of SaaS, and I am currently a BDR Manager at OWN Backup. Due to a long commute and my desire for a hybrid position closer to home, allowing me to dedicate more quality time to my team, I am seeking a new opportunity.
At OWN Backup, I have begun to transform an underperforming SDR team by focusing on hiring, onboarding, training, and managing. I was able to see one of my BDR’s get promoted and that is what it is all about. There is nothing more satisfying to me then coaching, developing and promoting a BDR to the field.
I utilize the MATT (Messaging, Activity, Targeting, Timing) framework to systematically address performance issues, achieving a 55% conversion rate in line with company benchmarks.
I also meet weekly with the Sales Leaders I support to discuss performance metrics and strategize on ways to enhance results.
Currently, I have hands-on experience with Outreach, Salesloft, and Salesforce, using data from Salesloft to create performance-tracking dashboards with my RevOps team. As a BDR manager, I prioritize being a player/coach to improve processes and foster strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Rev Ops, and Sales.
By regularly reviewing connect and conversation rates, I have coached BDRs to improve their outreach and objection handling, resulting in better engagement and extended conversations.
I am confident that my expertise in sales development and team leadership aligns with your requirements and can significantly contribute to your organization.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to learn more about your organization and discuss how I can contribute to your team.
Sincerely,
Anthony
