I’ve been pulled in many directions lately.
Who hasn’t??? But enough of that.
It’s time to stop whining and start engaging on LinkedIn.👇
Building relationships on LinkedIn is my top priority. But let’s be honest – I haven’t been engaging as well as I should.
This post is my blueprint for action, and if it resonates with you, feel free to take it for yourself:
→ I researched five LinkedIn thought leaders on DM’ing and commenting.
→ I need a solid strategy now. 💪
Posting isn’t enough – real progress comes from engaging with the right people. I’m here to build real relationships by offering value and creating meaningful connections.
Here’s how I’m approaching comments and DMs to make that happen:
Commenting:
→ Thoughtful comments beat frequent, shallow ones (Diego Gonzalez-Zuniga 🏳️🌈).
→ Engage authentically by replying to posts and other comments (Stephanie Loewenstern).
→ Offer solutions, not sales pitches (Manish Kaushik).
DMs:
→ Research before sending a DM ( Victoria Shepherd).
→ Personalize every message and lead with value (Stephanie Loewenstern).
→ Follow up with value, not pressure (Diego Gonzalez-Zuniga 🏳️🌈).
Example DM:
“Hi [Name], I saw your post on [specific topic] and thought this [resource] might be helpful. Would love to exchange ideas!”
My man Yaron Peretz says to take small steps everyday.
🚀 So I’m committing to 5 meaningful comments and 5 well-thought-out DMs a day to build my rhythm.
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. 🐘
💪 LFG!
P.S. How do you build real relationships on LinkedIn?
