If you haven’t noticed
I love posting about sales.
That led to a special connection. 👇
I’m gonna state the obvious:
→If you post more.
→You end up showing up on your 1st connections’ feeds more often.
→Hopefully your posts are meaningful.
→I showed up on Rebecca LaShelle feed recently.
Becky saw one of my many posts about sales:
→And rightfully so, probably thought I was crazy.
→What is this guy posting about again?
→Thankfully, she read it!
→I got her attention.
→In a good way.
→Then noticed I also run LoboIT, my IT consulting company.
→She realized we could potentially partner together.
→So she reached out.
→We haven’t spoken in 25 years.
We were an AE and SE team at Level 3 Communications circa 2000:
→We shared our struggles and triumphs since then.
→We picked up where we left off.
→We have so much in common.
→We have business synergies.
🤩 We have an awesome connection.
That’s the power of the LinkedIn community:
→Be you, so people realize you are THAT PERSON from 2000!
→With a little more baggage 😉
→Don’t be afraid to be yourself on LinkedIn.
→I know it’s a professional network.
→But it’s a network of humans.
→So just.be.you.
→Be human.
🚀 Put the raw material of yourself out there.
🚀 You never know what it will bring back.
That’s my message for today folks and I’m sticking with it.
